Freedom of Communcation

About FOC

Advocating for an inalienable right to simple, private, natural communication through the digital ether.

Communication: it is the most important and natural act in sustaining all human relationships, its importance is integral to every part of human existance – any insufficiency in communication has marked and drastic effects on those who face it, however there are grave signs that the simple act of communication that we take for granted is under real and present danger.

Over the past century the natural communication between humans has become not only entangled with, but reliant on technology; a global network has replaced what were once many tight knit geographical communities which were built as the sole supplier of not only our natural resources but every social interaction we had on planet earth, and the problem lies herein:

We have forsaken our natural communication which was based on geographical proximity and replaced it with a network which has
many single points of failure, one operated by
many “middle men” who are all empowered to impress their own agenda,

There has never been a time in history where humans have been under such control,
where not only our bodies are held captive, but our very words – and in time, our thoughts.
As our natural geographical networks waste away we become more and more relient on the governing classes
and the entities which bring us the new styled network.
As our communities waste away we have less and less ability to survive outside the digital network.
This cements the power of the providers and governing bodies
closer and closer to a point of absolution which is as we know is abslutely corrupting,
as a result the hands are getting closer to the throat of freedom.

Freedom of Communication is not only alarmist in nature, we are pragmatically working on solutions to keep the future as free as possible. Though we are starting behind the proverbial “eight ball” we have the mission:

To make digital communication as free as natural communication. Of course, there are two types of communication, we mean both.

  • Free as in liberty
  • Free as in beer
