Net Neutrality is the premise that all traffic on the internet should be treated the same, that traffic from source A should be treated exactly the same as traffic from source B, however some Internet Service Providers such as Virgin Media in the UK and recently Telstra BigPond in Australiastate that they do not respect net neutrality and will slow down or hinder the traffic of competitors, or introduce a toll based system. Some ISPs have also been known to deliberately sabotage some transmissions to slow them down. This practice has terrible implications for free speech and constitutional rights as well as the free flow of the internet. Legislate for Net Neutrality NOW

We favour quite a simple legislation:
THAT: Internet Service Providers have a responsibility to provide access to the internet as a wholly subscribed service THEREFORE No ISP may allow the transmission or reception of any subscriber to be interfered with in any way nonwithstanding compliance with applicable government regulations.
